In Loving Memory of Linda Treece
Linda understood something that not everyone does—that healing is never one-sided. She received so much from the horses she loved, and they received something from her in return. Her quiet presence, gentle spirit, and generous heart had a way of bringing peace not only to people, but to the horses as well.
We are heartbroken by the loss of our dear friend, Linda Treece.
Linda was a cherished member of our Wild Woman community and faithfully served on the Zenhorse Advisory Council. She had a gentle spirit, a kind heart, and a deep love for the horses and the people who gathered here.
At the request of her husband, memorial gifts made in lieu of flowers will help continue the healing work at Zenhorse that meant so much to Linda. We invite you to honor her memory with a gift or by sharing a favorite memory and photo below.
Linde is a gentle and kind soul. She truly adored the deep and powerful connection of love that the Mustangs gift to each and every one of us. As her sudden transition brings much pain to our hearts, may she help ease and lift it over time by staying connected w/us in spirit💞

I met Linde during the Wild Woman Weekend retreat two summers ago. The pictures on this page do such a great job of summing up the love and peace she contributed to that gathering. I am grateful for the time we spent getting to know one another on such a deep level with our equine friends. I will cherish the times we were able to catch up at Blue Sage Ranch when our volunteering happened to overlap. It was always such a pleasure to see her smiling face, and she emitted such a positive, welcoming energy.
To her family - I am very sorry for your loss, and I wish you comfort and peace during this difficult time. Her friends at Zenhorse will continue to hold you all in our hearts. 💜 I am deeply touched at the request that memorial gifts be directed toward the healing work happening at Zenhorse - what an amazing way to continue to honor Linde's legacy.
I will always remember Linda for her kindness, she was just the sweetest soul. We lost an earth angel with her passing, but I know she is looking out for all of us on the other side. RIP my dear, knowing your presence made a beautiful impact on those who’s lives you touched.
