About
Kit Maxwell
I live in the St. Louis area with my family, my horses, and a few dogs and cats. My two older children have graduated from college, and my youngest is now a senior in college! We have 11 horses, all of which participate in the equine-assisted therapy program. Of these, nine are mustangs born free in wild herds. As I have come to know these amazing animals and understand their plight, I have become committed to helping them. Therefore, we support the healing of mustangs adopted directly from the Bureau of Land Management as well as rescued from kill pen situations in our equine-assisted therapy programs. We have also formed Zenhorse, a non-profit organization dedicated to healing humans and horses who have experienced trauma.

Like most people, I have been through bumps, bruises and shattering losses in this life. Like most, I have my own trauma history. The game changers for me in not only surviving, but thriving have been and continue to be IFS therapy, Somatic Experiencing, life coaching and horses. That is why you'll find all four of these available in my offer to you. Each on their own are extremely powerful. Together -- magic. There is nothing I love more than sharing this magic with others.
